Twin Chimneys Families,

What an amazing first week of school! We are all so delighted with the way our students have adapted to their new routines and appreciate the support and patience of our families! Our students have been spending time getting to know their teacher(s) and their classmates. We have enjoyed getting to see these relationships form and look forward to the amazing things they will be learning this school year. Thank you to all those who came out to celebrate the school year at the Back to School Bash! Our curriculum night that is scheduled for Sept. 15, will be held virtually to ensure we are maintaining social distancing and safety for students and families. Information will remain the same as teachers will take this time to cover all things curriculum. All teachers, including specialists, will be sending out a Webex link at the by Sept. 13. There will be two sessions to attend, to accommodate for multiple kiddos within the same family!

Our monthly newsletter will have important reminders and pertinent information for the month, as well as links to resources for all of our Pioneers. We also use this platform to celebrate successes, wins and share learning from the past month. We ask that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with the contents. In addition, our website is a valuable resource for upcoming events and parent information, along with the latest news from our school district.

Thank you for your partnership in your child’s education! We are BETTER together!

If your child can answer YES to any of the questions about symptoms, keep your child home and contact your healthcare provider. If you are unsure or have additional health questions, please reach out to us here at school.

Girl Scouts Project

Over summer, Troop 2599 was busy completing landscaping for the memorial garden in the outdoor classroom space. This included adding new plants, mulch and scrubbing the benches and memorial marker stone. We are thankful for the hard work that these scouts put in. Our students are going to be able to enjoy it for many years to come!
Thank you again, Erin and the fantastic scouts of Troop 2599!
